(More customer reviews)My husband and I grow a large organic garden from which we eat year round. Our favorite cuke by far has been the lemon cucumber. Bugs don't touch them, they never grow bitter, and will produce an abundant crop all season long. I can now grow cucumbers from May until October here in Oklahoma - from the same vines I plant in late March. We eat them fresh but also pickle them and find them absolutely delicious. Pick them small - the seeds can be tough if the cucumbers are larger than a tennis ball. My kids pick and munch them straight from the vine. I like them fresh with balsamic vinegar, olive oil, and freshly ground pepper (paired with sliced red onions or tomatoes as well). My sons take the pickled ones to school during the winter and have to fight the other kids off of them! I now have people begging me for the seeds every spring and can't keep everyone supplied. Plant them - you won't be disappointed!

Lemon Cucumber Cucumis sativus 3 in fruit Tender Annual
Very uniform and unique variety is a prolific yielder that keeps producing late in the season when others have stopped. 3" diameter, round, yellow cukes are juicy, crisp and refreshing. Great for fresh slicing and pickling. Have the patience to wait for this one, they are wonderful.
